This is one of the hottest topics of the age. There is so much heat around the debate of the second amendment it's amazing.
Some people say that guns should be banned. They're too dangerous. They are purely for the purpose of causing death. They do nothing but help the cause of violence. (I'm going to ignore the reason that 'criminals use them so we should ban them' reason because it's stupid to the point of ridiculous)
Frankly, I regard that view as short-sighted (There's a pun in there somewhere). Too dangerous? Purely for killing? That's a pure example of generalization. Guns are tools of desctruction, to be sure (Oh yeah, I'm also ignoring the argument that 'guns kill people'. If guns kill people, then cars crash themselves, beer gets drunk, and toast toasts toast).
However, the reason weapons exist is because conflict exists. And I don't know about you, but if someone pointed a gun at my family, I'd want a gun to point back. To defend yourself against a power means you must have power of an equal level. That's what guns are for.
When people started using guns, the world became equal. Suddenly old men and young men no longer were separated in terms of strength. A 90 year old geezer could cut down a 20 year old buck with a mere trigger pull. But looking beyond that, the use of guns has revolutionized our defenses. When hostiles break into an old woman's home, all she must do is point a gun at them and assure them she knows how to shoot. "Let's talk about Jesus until the police arrive, honey."
If you are one of those people who think that guns should be banned because they cause deaths, let me remind you that people are at fault, not the weapons they use. Take all the weapons away from man and he will beat each other to death with his bare fists. Then what will you blame?

Feminism
I've had an itch about this subject for a long time. While the push for women's voting rights was probably the high of this controversy, the struggle has been going on for much longer than that.
What is feminism, really? What do feminists want? Most of their agendas proclaim 'freedom', 'equality' and 'rights'.
And they are certainly getting what they want. More and more, women are allowed into the same positions as men. The roles of both genders are beginning to blend, slowly but surely.
And yet the very things feminists once thought would improve their social standing has done just the opposite. Instead of giving them freedom, it has imprisoned them even more in this day and age.
Women and men are two different creatures. They are specifically designed to complement each other, and they do it perfectly. When a woman and man are bonded in marriage, their strengths and weaknesses cover each other's backs.
Along with that comes their roles. Women in general are designed weaker than men. Their minds are more colorful, creative. They are gentle, kind, soft. They are ideally suited for training the next generation. That is their speciality; the home.
Men, on the other hand, are powerful. Strong-willed. They have the ability to lead and protect others. Their main duty and job is to work for their families and protect the ones they love. They guide and direct their wives and children. That is their speciality; leadership.
What feminism has done by bringing women to the same level has men is disgusting. Women are not made to fight, to lead. I am not saying that they cannot protect those they care about. But today, with women allowed into direct combat - fighting alongside of men - it poses many problems. As well as women vying for positions of power. Again, I'm not saying that women should not have no control over the decisions that affect them. But they were not designed to lead. They influence their leaders by following. That is a truly privileged position to have.
Women are to be valued. They are precious. Each and every girl has what no man has and yet what every man needs; what is called 'a woman's touch'. Men can't live without women.
But now that women are the same as men...they are not special anymore. They are devalued, treated as nothing but objects of pleasure. Nothing but pretty things to look at. This is not what women should be treated as.
Women, you have a special role. We men need that. Help us out, huh?
Signing off!

The Controversial Clown's Rules
Welcome one and all, to the blog of Political Incorrectness!
The rules are simple.
1. Don't swear or cuss. That just makes you sound like a twelve-year-old playing Call of Duty, to quote Blimeycow. No one wants to hear it, and you're more mature than that.
2. Don't argue. You are welcome to share your views and opinions, but do not begin an arguement in the comment section. Do it somewhere else, please.
3. Regard posts as my opinions only. Please, don't generalize and apply my views to the group of people I classify with (Conservative Republican Evangelical Christian). If you have a problem with something I say, then keep that problem with me. Don't blame others. (There may be posts where I say 'we' and that is because what I am stating actually DOES apply to all the people I'm talking about, so please don't get confused)
4. Have fun. This is a blog of incorrectness, and you will probably find yourself offended at one point or another. Shrug it off! I'm here for you guys and only for you! Enjoy reading!
